U10's win Horsham Festival

After a disappointing West Sussex Festival Horsham U10's showed how well they can play with a totally committed team performance. Horsham Tigers in a very strong Pool group saw the whole team gel from the very start, excellent tackling,rucking,mauling and passing from every player allowed hard fought wins against Lewes, Pulborough and Hove to set up a Pool B decider against Worthing. Worthing play a similar physical passing game as Horsham but total committment from the lads saw Horsham take an early lead that Worthing were unable to come back from, setting up a final clash with East Grinstead from Pool A. In Pool A Horsham Lions had tough games losing to Haywards Heath, Midhurst and East Grinstead but they kept fighting hard to ensure a fine win against Pulborough B's. Pool group winners East Grinstead and Horsham Tigers saw a fantastic display of rugby from both teams. Horsham Tigers had the bit between their teeth from the outset. Excellent quick ball from rucks allowed Horsham to spread the ball wide to run in 3 trys, awesome committed rucking/tackling kept East Grinstead contained. This was the best Horsham team performance of the season with every player playing for each other. Well done lads, all the Parents and supporters are proud of each and every one of you.
