This was billed as a European Rugby Tournament with 65 teams from around Eurpoe. It seemed to be a tournament full of UK teams with a smattering of Dutch sides to give it a European feel.

There was an early start for the boys & with one team in our pool dropping out we only played 2 No. 20 minute games over 5 hours.

Hilversum was not what we expected & was very dissapointing with a lot of hanging around for the boys.

This did not help our preperation & although individually we played well we lost out structure and made hard work of our win against Haagsche but were pleased with the result.

Next up was Diss RFC who we had to beat to progress in the tournament.

After a great day at the Panthers, playing in the heat of the day followed by some late night pool at the holiday park it all seemed to take its toll & sap our energy for the next day at Hilversum.
