Trophy
Semi-finals
Hove beat Crawley
Horsham beat Brighton 1
Final: Hove 35 Horsham 0
With a squad of 12 players, and injurys taking their toll, Horsham were reduced to 9 players for the final 3 matches.
Playing a very physical League 1 Hove side in the final the boys put up a great display but fell at the final hurdle.
Brightons coach commented -
"Thought your lads played very well.
It is clear they are in the winning habit and very confident. I just think injuries, exhaustion and lack of numbers took their toll on you in that final - against a full Div 1 A squad!"
