Both teams played with a mix of Horsham U16 and school players in an end of season derby against Horshams local schools.
The majority of players were known to each other through rugby, school or socially there was a sense of fun about the fixture which changed once the whistle went.
Tanbridge were the more coehesive team playing some structured rugby but Forest were full of enthusiasm.
However, Tanbridge had the better of the first half and raced to a 21- 0 lead.
The second half was more evenly matched with both teams scoring two converted trys each making the final score 14-35.
It was a highly enjoyable fixture played with great spirit between two committed sides.
Luckily with 2 days before tour none of the Horsham U16 players picked up an injury!
