We were very slow to start against a gritty Effingham & Leatherhead who raced to an impressive lead in the first half before Horsham hit back with 2 late trys to edge 4 points ahead at half time.
There was a lot of frustration in the way we were playing - falling off tackles, being turned over at the breakdown and there was no structure in our approach to the game.
The Effingham & Leatherhead Fly Half was controlling their game, kicking out of hand to put pressure on Horsham and starve us of possession.
It was a competitive first half but Horshams gameplan clicked into place during the second half when they scored a number of unanswered trys.
The support play, handling, clearing out and speed of Horshams back line produced some great scores and was a joy to watch.
Craig Dent scored a brace of trys with his intelligent running - John Matthews & Ben Murphy also scored two each with others coming from Callum Punter, George Carbone, Alex Harry & Olly Lewis.
This confident win sets the boys up for next weekends tour to South Wales.
