This was an excellent game played at a fast pace against two closely matched sides.
It was end to end stuff with Bracknell scoring an early try after 5 minutes squeezing into the corner.
Horsham responded quickly with a try by Max Patterson but the visitors scored a second try with a powerful run by their prop to bundle over the line from close range.
Bracknell had some big powerful forwards who made it very difficult for us at the breakdown and at scrumtime, but we competed well and created some great opportunities for our backs with quick ball and hands.
Another try was scored by Alfie Burchfield before Bracknell pulled one back on the stroke of half time pouncing on a loose ball on the Horsham tryline.
Patterson & Burchfield scored a further 2 trys each making it a hat trick apiece while Charlie Best scored a fantastic individual try with a brilliant kick and chase.
We were very creative in midfield and varied our play making use of our kicking game to exploit space behind the Bracknell defense.
Three of the Horsham trys were converted and Bracknell scored a further 7 points making the final score 41-24.
It was a great game to watch and Horsham played some exciting rugby scoring fantastic trys.
Another encouraging squad performance with everybody getting involved and playing their part as we build towards our second league game against Jersey next week.
