Errors Prove Costly

A tough first round draw in our National Colts Cup debut saw a great display from Horsham Colts but errors made in the final 15 minutes cost them the game.

Ealing were a big physical well drilled side and we competed for the majority of the game playing some great expansive rugby, lovely pick and go at number 8 with strong forwards play, but on occasions our support was poor and players were isolated.

Having said that there were small margins that decided the match and with 15 minutes to go it was anybody's game at 21-17.

But Ealing were very quick in all aspects of their game which forced Horsham into errors and ultimately proved the difference.

Another excellent performance from Horsham with the squad developing and improving during the early part of the season.

Up next is our first league game of the season against last year's winners Heathfield

It doesn't get any easier!
