Horsham Colts suffered their second league defeat of the season, when they were beaten by Brighton Colts. If Horsham could have maintained the pressure they applied in the first 10 minutes of the game, they may have achieved an away win. However, the good start was ended when Brighton won a scrum against the head in Horsham’s half, Brighton’s number 8 picked up at the base of the scrum and made an uncontested charge for the line, scoring easily.
Horsham continued to make a game of it, but the game was proving to be a feisty affair with minor incidents both on and off the field. Horsham did score in the second half, but Brighton always remained in control and ended the game with a comfortable win.
