There is a funding opportunity for clubs in West Sussex to start a new walking rugby session for over 65’s. This is part of a pot of funding provided by Active Sussex to develop a new walking rugby session for at least a 26 week period. The goal of this funding is to set up a new walking rugby club in the West Sussex area.

They can fund:

- Venue hire and coach fees for 26 weeks and a small amount of equipment if needed
- Coach training if required
- The plan must be for the activity to be self-sustaining beyond 26 weeks either through free venue, volunteer coach/organiser, and collection of participant fees.

Please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested and let me know names of those who might like to participate by 24th July so that I can apply for Horsham Rugby Club to become a new venue.
