Two wins out of three for Horsham
The weekend saw two wins for the senior sides, with both the 1s and the Lions overcoming strong opposition.
The 1st XV and the Lions both chalked up impressive league victories over the weekend, while the Casuals unfortunately lost on the road.
A 29-12 win over Eastbourne for the 1s and a 48-5 win over Chichester IV for the Lions saw both teams go to the top of London 3SE and Sussex 2W respectively, with the 1s now three from three and the Lions two from two.
The Casuals were unable to replicate the previous week's victory over Pulborough, losing 38-17 to Chichester V.
Overall a weekend of positives, not only in the results but also in fielding three strong teams with packed subs benches, and the impressive turnout for the VPs lunch.
Next weekend the 1s travel to Uckfield, the Lions head to Brighton to take on Sussex Police, and the Casuals have a Vets fixture against Heathfield & Waldron.
