I’m on the quest for a replacement Fixtures Secretary for the minis section.

The role is fairly straight forward and need not take up a lot of time every week, really depending upon how much time you want to put in to it.

Contacts made between you and other clubs is all done by email, unless you prefer the phone.

I’ve been fixture secretary since my son was an U7, he’s moving up to U12’s next season so I am looking to step down this year.  I am willing to shadow the ”successful” applicant (if required) for a year until my son moves up to Juniors.

So what are the benefits of volunteering for this role??

Always looks good on your CV – “I arrange the whole fixtures for the Mini Section at Horsham RFC” – I’d give you the job!

Get to know the Club and the people who run it, - hmmm this may not be a selling point!

Get a personally signed copy of the first team calendar! -ok guys where is it??

The sense of achievement when you see the children having fun - 100%

What will happen if you don’t volunteer?

Well basically there will be no fixtures for the minis next season! – hard truth, - what are you waiting for?
