Greeted by a muddy and windy day, Horsham emerged victorious against Worthing in a commanding game showcasing the teams skill and precision across the field. The scoreboard reflected a one-sided affair with Horsham securing a comprehensive 39-0 victory over Worthing, however, on the pitch it was a lot closer contest than the scoreline reads, with some very well worked tries by Horsham.

The Horsham players set the tone early in the game, with Milo Wilson breaking through Worthing's defense with a brilliant run through the line on the wing to score the opening try, setting the score at 5-0. The momentum continued as Harry Dolan burst over with a strong run straight down the line, and Max Unsworth into the corner adding to the tally with tries, making it 15-0. Thomas Cochlin striking the ball sweetly off the tee was unlucky not to add the conversions into a very strong headwind from the touchlines. Ollie Chamberlain with a powerful run down the wing from 40 out very unlucky to be just short of the line right on halftime - 15-0 at halftime, although the game felt fairly evenly poised at this point.

A well worked team try after the break with the forwards and backs combining to send Thomas Cochlin flying over in the corner with a try, extending Horsham's lead to 20-0. The relentless offensive pressure continued as Harry Streeter and then Beau Richardson each contributed brilliant tries, stepping and weaving through the Worthing defence widening the gap to 32-0. Thomas Cochlin adding extra points to the score from in front. The final highlight of the match came from Thomas Cochlin again, who not only secured another try but also successfully converted it, bringing the final score to an emphatic 39-0 in favor of Horsham.

Horsham's performance was characterized by exceptional teamwork with the forwards and backs working in partnership across the field; individual brilliance from a number of players; and a clinical execution of scoring opportunities. Despite the defeat, Worthing displayed resilience and sportsmanship throughout the game, with the match played in great spirits. Man of the match from Horsham was Ollie Chamberlain, with some powerful runs and strong tackles.
