Horsham under-14s have this season taken the Sussex League by storm following their promotion to the A Division - and eight of the team have been selected for the county squad for two matches in April.

Following two intensive weekends, three further full days and two trial matches at Hove, five backs and three forwards have been named in the Sussex squad to play Hampshire on April 11 and Eastern Counties in Cambridge on April 18.

It might not have been the bonus point win we all wanted but gaining our first-ever victory over Hove was sweet enough.

Especially as they had beaten us twice last season and earlier this season in friendlies.
