On a nice day for Rugby, the Lions took the short trip to Shoreham. Early pressure from the Shoreham side saw 3 early tries from the home team, with the Shoreham back row being very dominant in the breakdown. The Lions were caught napping, and were then playing catch up rugby! Adam Day was the first to cross the line for the Horsham Side, with a quick tap penalty he bundled over the line just before half time.
This seem to spur on the Lions, and tries came from Richard Henderson in the centre and Flanker Dan Crook. Day had another run, and again almost mirror image try. Ciaran Fitzgerald received a broken collar bone after making a try saving tackle, we wish him a speedy recovery.
The final score 48-32 to Shoreham.
This weekend the Lions face Hove at home in the league.
