Another Glorious Sunday afternoon with Blazing sun, if a little cold, greeted the U13 Ladies at Sutton and Epsom RFU.

A Friendly U13 Ladies match of two 20 minute halves.

It quickly became clear that the match settled down into a fairly predictable pattern, Sutton and Epsom fantastically good rucking and presentation of the ball against Horshams attacking flair and defensive tackling effort.

Despite Horsham Ladies initial reluctance having mistaken the U15 team from sutton as their opposition, they quickly realised that the opponents were not as big as they had feared.
After an initial settling down period where both teams were a little excited and taking stock of each other. the game settled down.
Horsham after this period were pretty unstoppable and all players deserve a mention.

Libby for both defensive and attacking skills
Autumn in only her third game, her hard running and offloads
Grace for her fearsome strength and crashing runs
Summer in only her second game contributing to the team effort
Kacey for her full back sheperding, tackling, and line breaks
Bea for her tackling and Katie for her unparalleld speed and try scoring
Lucy in her first appearance as scrum half with her great distribution

Horsham eventually scored 15 times against 2 for Sutton
Truly a great team effort and beginning to go through the phases which bodes well for the move up to U15 next season.
Well done to all the Girls, your coaches were very proud, as of course were the parents.
