After recently losing players & coaches the remaining squad & new coaching team ended the season in style by winning the East Grinstead 10s Plate Final

Despite losing their opening game 3-0 (try's scored) against East Grinstead A, Horshams next opponents were a very stong Brighton side who won 4-1 and were the eventual tournament winners.

The boys competed well against these stonger sides matching their physicality in the tackle and at the breakdown. Despite coming close to scoring on numerous occassions they failed to put points on the board & could not contain the oppositions strike runners. However, scoring against Brighton was great reward for their hard work, commitment and support play.

These tough opening games were followed by an 8-0 rout over a resolute Crawley side followed by a 7-0 win over Shoreham in the plate semi final.

Buoyed by this success & Ice Creams bought by Uncle Keith the boys went on to comprehensively beat East Grinstead B in the final 6-1.

The team showed great spirit throughout the tournament - the new coaching team were very pleased with the consistency and physicality of the boys performance & we won our first trophy since U9's!
