Open to all abilities and genders from 16 years+, not just players, Liam Yeates will be running a Fitness course, starting 7th May for 5 weeks.

Now that the season has come to a end, for some this means a long rest and time to put your feet up and wait for pre-season to kick off. For others, it is seen as an opportunity to get ahead of the game and keep in shape making pre-season easier, giving you the edge over those who use that time to stop all exercise.

I have had a fair amount of interest from players from all teams asking about conditioning circuits and one on one training. For those that do not know me, my background has been in fitness, nutrition and conditioning for the past 5 years working in gyms and privately and have currently been playing for Horsham RUFC this year. For those who do not enjoy the gym, want to keep fit outside in the sun and in a group environment then keep reading as I have a solution which may be of interest to you.

Starting Monday 7th of May, I will be starting what will be known as 'Future Form Bootcamps' at the club. The bootcampis a 5 week course, consisting of 15 sessions which will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the club starting at 7.15pm. The sessions will be functional and versitile using some of most effective equipment and body weighted exercises to ensure all goals/targets can be covered, whether this be fat burn, build muscle, strength, power or just general fitness.

The 5 weeks will be broken down so that the first week will cover technique of kettlebells, ViPRs, MMA, and other exercises relevant to the sessions. Then the following 12 sessions will be more intense, each lasting for 45minutes, which if you speak to some of the guys who have worked with me before, then you know this is more than enough time!

Being run through my own company, a cost will be involved, however speaking to the clubs Head Coach Nick Stocker, I am pleased to offer a 25% discount to all players and members, which means for the 5 weeks I will be offering 2 packages:

Gold - 5 weeks, 15 sessions = £60
Platinum- 5 weeks, 15 sessions + 2 hours of Personal Training = £85

For those that think this is a lot, I normally charge £30 for an hours Personal training, so that would be £450, where as with bootcamp you get 15 group sessions for £4 a session. Bargain!!!
