There will be 2 routes, a 25 mile ride for the novice or occasional rider and a 50 mile route for the more experienced riders amongst us. I'm assuming that no fit young, energetic rugby player would be prepared to tackle anything less than the full 50 miles.
These will be 'signed' rides with coffee, lunch and tea stops provided.
We are keen to not only have individuals riding but are looking to encourage teams to take place.
We are aiming to keep the entry fee down to £15, all of which will go towards our fund raising target and in addition we are hoping that individuals and teams can raise sponsorship monies.
In addition to the 2 on road rides we are planning to run a cycling event that day at the rugby which will allow the children of club members to participate.
More about this in due course.
What I need you to so now is to hold the date in your diaries and shortly we will be providing entry forms. Please register your interest by emailing Tony Smith at tonyrsmith53@yahoo.com or Richard Ordidge at richard.ordidge@outlook.com
So it's time to get the bikes out of the shed, find the crash helmet and get pedalling.
