This start date was dependent on the club receiving confirmation from both the RFU and Sport England that the grant monies had been signed off, an essential require the prior to the build commencing.
The grant monies have now been confirmed, albeit slightly later than we anticipated, therefore the build will now begin on the 27th March. Despite the delay to our intended start date the build will be completed by mid to late August.

The attached plan of the site shows the site perimeter and it is important that members are aware of the restrictions the build will place upon us as work continues. Clearly the fenced area of the site, highlighted in red, are out of bounds for all club users. This is a critical safety factor.

From next week access to the existing changing rooms will be through the gents toilets and access from the changing rooms to the playing areas will be via the emergency exit doors and NOT the changing room external door.

In addition, access from the car park to the playing areas will only be practical on the north side of the clubhouse.

We ask that all members and users of the club respect the boundaries of the building site: this is a critical safety issue for all.
