A tough first match against East Grinstead whom Horsham had beaten the previous week in the Horsham Festival final, this was a very hard fought game with Horsham just coming out on top 1-0. The next two games where very comfortable 6-0 wins against Lewis Tigers and Uckfield. This left the final game to be played against Lewis Lions who were also unbeaten on the day. On a very hard pitch Horsham dominated territory but were unable to cross the Lewis line, final score 0-0. This meant Horsham had not conceded a try all day but Lewis had scored more trys and won on try count.
Jacob Purnell and Michael Tranter, both were playing their best rugby of the season to date. Jacob with some great rucking and mauling, and Michael with much improved tackling and running. Well done again lads.
