HRUFC's Calendar of Social Events for 2010/2011 Season
Saturday 11th September
First League Match Social
- The Lions are playing at home, so match awards and games will begin soon after players dinner
- The Firsts will be travelling back from Crowborough to join the supporters and other club players back at HQ
- Back at the club both teams will be getting together and there will be some Bill Grant drinks for all supporters and players
- There will be a theme for the night (To Be Announced)
- With pub crawl, following many drinks over the bar in the club
Saturday 18th September
Ladies Day
- Starting from 1:30pm, you will be greeted by the Club's Chairman who will introduce you to the club and other ladies - Cream Tea's (with the works), Cake, Cheese and Crackers in the Bill Grant room
- Kick off @ 3pm - Both Horsham 1st XV and Lions kick off their first home league matches of 2010/11
- Half Time Pimms for the ladies
- After match dinner for players and partners - with name places and ladies spread between the players (music and match awards)
- Drinks for all teams in the bar, with some discount prices for everyone to enjoy for a few hours of drinks
This invitation is open for all Wives and Girlfriends of Senior Club Members, including:
- Players (whether playing on the day or not)
- Committee Members
- Coaches
- VPs
- Non Playing Members
Cost is £5 per head, which includes; Cream Teas, Cheese and Crackers, half time Pimms and a sit down meal with the players.
(Food - There will be a home Cooked Cottage Pie. A Vegetable Pie option will be available *We must be informed at least one week prior to the event.)
Payment must be made at least one week in advance, either by cash or bank transfer (details can be provided to individuals by request).
Should any Player's Wife or Girlfriend wish to bring along a guest, then you are more than welcome.
Saturday 16th October
Club Day
- All 3 senior teams are playing at home, so we expect big crowds to support all matches
- There will be a full social, planned by a guest social organisor for the night
- Drinks and games will be arranged after matches, inc sit down dinners, match awards

Saturday 23rd October
Coach Trip to Cranbrook
- Horsham 1st’s are travelling to Cranbrook for one of their key ways League fixtures
- Musical insutruments will be the order of the day !! Bring the noise
- Any supporters are welcome, on a first come first served basis

November 6th November
HRUFC’s Annual Fireworks & Bonfire Night
- Great family event, with many different attractions
- Including one of Horsham’s and the counties largest Fireworks and Bonfire displays
- Further details to be announced
Sunday 21st November
Senior’s Day out to Church
- Starting Sunday morning
- All over 18’s are welcome – details will be provided on request on on Facebook closer to the event
- Monday at work would be best avoided (plan a holiday)
Saturday 11th December
Xmas Curry
- There will be a gentleman’s evening for all senior players of new and old
- Details to be confirmed closer to the time
Saturday 29th January
Pub Crawl
- There will be a full social, planned by a guest social organisor for the night
- Drinks and games will be arranged after matches, inc sit down dinners, match awards

Saturday 5th February
Coach Trip to Medway
- Horsham 1st’s are travelling to Folketone with a massive league fixture to win
- Great rivalry and a fantastic chance to spend a day out near the coast – singing and jolly behaviour is encouraged
- Any supporters are welcome, on a first come first served basis

Sunday 20th February
Senior Player’s Paintballing
- Following last seasons great day out Paintballing, this should again be a real gem
- Some drinks will follow, we are confident
